2022 – 2025 Strategic Plan Statement

To position USL as a top independent school in the region and one that prepares and guides students to navigate a complicated and complex world, USL’s 2025 strategic goals are:

Goal One

Student Learning
Advance USL’s curriculum- including academic, social-emotional, leadership, and experiential- to build upon student’s pathway to learning and empower teachers to recognize students’ personal gifts and talents

Goal two

Community Engagement and Communications
Establish University School of the Lowcountry’s brand, increase visibility in Charleston and the region, and strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders and local organizations

Goal three

Fiscal Stability & Sustainability
Develop and sustain strong enrollment numbers, establish new sources of revenue, increase overall fundraising to ensure USL’s long-term sustainability, and address present and future facilities needs
